Good to know: Tradicion Cream VOS is bottled “en rama” (like all Tradicion wines and brandy) which means that the wine is not manipulated or treated before bottling. First blended wine, pure, non-chilled filtered, not caramelized (at it happens with many in Jerez) is unique, some hints of Oloroso sherry with the sweet bite. This is another very special wine from Tradicion and only three thousand bottles per year are released. This Cream Sherry is the first one to be classified VOS with more than 20 years of average age.

This sherry wine is the perfect balance between dry and sweetness for the non-sweet wine drinkers, because being sweet it does not feel like something you want every time. However, this is not just a Christmas wine as aside from matching to perfection the typical cakes, it also could be very well paired with some other dishes like duck, foie-gras, pheasants or turkey... it is also a superb combination with creamy and powerful cheese like blue ones... and with gorgonzola, straight to heaven!

The original company was founded in 1650, which hold the oldest of the sherry brands known to date. Tradicion is the newest wine project within the family after 11 generations. Focusing on very old sherry, not-chill filtered, not blended, not stabilized, not clarified, unsweetened, and with no addition of sulfates was a very unique and adventurous strategy indeed. Tradicion search for the purest style of classic sherry and aim to produce outstanding wines certified with more than thirty years of age or V.O.R.S. (Very Old Rare Sherry) or more than twenty years of age or V.O.S (Very Old Sherry).
