Good to know: Legras de Haas is located in the most northern Grand Cru Village in Cote des Blancs, Chouilly. This is where the foundation of the Legraas-Haas family started. The Legras brothers aims to promote their village’s qualities and diversity to ensure a great reputation as one of the Grand Crus of Champagne. This roots from their love for their village.

Legras & Haas L’Évidence Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Chouilly Extra Brut 2014 is a pure Chardonnay Champagne crafted from the estate’s oldest Grand Cru hillside parcels in Chouilly. Vinified and aged in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation and a low dosage of under 5 g/L, this vintage cuvée emphasizes clarity, mineral tension, and precise acidity. It opens with aromas of citrus blossom, green apple, fresh almond, beeswax, and jasmine, while the palate is crisp and finely textured, revealing flavors of baked apple, caramel, spice, and a saline mineral finish. With its structured yet approachable style, it pairs beautifully with seafood such as oysters or sea urchin and offers excellent aging potential over the next five to six years.
