Good to know: Located on the highest point of the Appellation with 24 meters above the sea level, Lagrange’s vineyard spread over an impressive single bloc with 17 different type of soils which is the same as 400 years ago, this is the 1st key point for being able to produce amazing wines. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon 25% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Lagrange was one of the 1^st Chateau which introduce the leaf removal and green harvest in 1985 to improve quality. The 2nd most important point to be able to produce amazing wines is the date of picking and how you manage the sorting and vinification. The 3rd most important point to be able to produce amazing wines is how to manage the blend and the proportion of Grand Vin / Second Wine / Third Wine.

I first visited without notice to scout the venue for a business meeting, and they kindly showed me around. This time, I returned for a private dinner.

Communication via WhatsApp was seamless and friendly, allowing us to pre-order the Gambas al Ajillo and Cochinillo. The Gambas was cooked to perfection with amazing flavor, and the Cochinillo was a masterpiece—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside.
