THE DURAND

The Durand was invented by wine collector Mark Taylor after he struggled to open a fragile 1969 vintage, leading him to engineer a tool that braces the cork from both the inside and out. He named the device after his mentor and friend, the legendary Master Sommelier Yves Durand, as a tribute to their shared passion for preserving the world’s finest aged wines.
