Good to Know: Domaine Albert Mann is a renowned family-run estate in Wettolsheim, Alsace, formed from the union of the Mann and Barthelmé families, with winemaking roots dating back to the 17th century. Today, brothers Maurice and Jacky Barthelmé lead the domaine, which spans around 25 hectares, including several prestigious Grand Cru vineyards. Fully certified organic and biodynamic, the estate emphasizes soil health, biodiversity, and minimal intervention to produce pure, terroir-driven wines. Known for its exceptional Rieslings, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and elegant Pinot Noirs, Albert Mann is widely regarded as one of Alsace’s benchmark producers, earning critical acclaim for its precision, balance, and commitment to sustainable viticulture.

Crafted from certified organic and biodynamic estate vineyards, the 2024 Albert Mann Riesling represents the return to a classic, "svelte" style of Alsatian white wine. Due to a temperate, late-summer ripening period, this vintage delivers a beautifully fresh and aromatic profile without the heavy, high-alcohol weight of warmer years. On the nose, it reveals crisp aromas of green apple, lime zest, and wet stone, accented by delicate white floral notes. The palate is light-to-medium-bodied and intensely energetic, driven by a sharp, mouthwatering acidity and a clean, saline finish that lingers with a touch of flinty minerality. Exceptionally food-friendly, the 2024 vintage is ready to be enjoyed in its vibrant youth, pairing seamlessly with raw oysters, light seafood, or traditional Alsatian fare.
