Good to know: Chateau Croix Cardinal was recently promoted to Grand Clu Classe classification in 2006 particularly for the aging potential of their wines and also their immensely fruit driven quality making them enjoyable if opened at 2 - 3 years old or 20 years later.

Chateau Croix Cardinale has been owned by Florence and Dominique Decoster since 2001. The winery is known for investing heavily and promoting environmentally sustainable practices. The estate has the Engagé RSE certification for social responsibility. Since 2013, it has also been implementing the Bordeaux Wines Environmental Management System (based on ISO 14001) which focuses on managing water consumption, waste sorting and effluent, recycling, cultivation, pest management and employee health and safety.

Chateau Croix Cardinale's 2019 Vintage: This year has seen some challenges, but also great potential. Despite losing 1.5 hectares to frost in May, the subsequent dry and hot weather has allowed our grapes to thrive.

Thanks to satisfying rainfall in July and August, we anticipate a successful harvest in September. For those looking to enjoy the fruits of our labor, we recommend waiting until 2022 for the optimal tasting experience. In the meantime, store this wine in your cellar and serve at a temperature between 17-18°C. Trust us, it will be worth the wait.
