Decanting Time: Decant only for 30 minutes to less than 1 hour. Decant only to remove sediments (wines at this age and high quality will tend to have sediments form in the bottle. This is completely normal and a sign of the wine's age and quality. Another way to avoid sediments going in the glass is to rest the bottle vertically for at least 1 hour so that the sediments settle at the bottom and pour gently or pour using a fine strainer.). Serve at 16 - 18°C

Our suggestion for decanting time is based on bottles we tried at Txanton in 2025. We guarantee that Txanton stocks are imported and maintained in proper storage within the correct temperature and humidity suitable for wine.

Good To Know: The Constatnti family has a long history in the region and has risen to winemaking prominence back in the 19th Century.

Starting 1983, Andrea Costanti took over and inherited a large part of the few distinguished labels of quality in Montalcino at the time. As the years went by, he has developed an aromatic variety of the wines as much as he could. This in return has rewarded him with richer aromas even with extreme ranges in temperature.
The 2020 Conti Costanti Brunello di Montalcino is a compelling expression of Sangiovese grown on high-altitude galestro soils in Montalcino. Crafted with precision, the wine undergoes fermentation with extended skin contact, followed by aging in a combination of Allier tonneaux and large Slavonian oak casks, then further refined in bottle before release. It opens with fragrant notes of iris, violet, and wild cherry, layered with hints of raspberry compote, licorice, rosemary, and truffle. On the palate, the wine is both powerful and elegant, supported by velvety tannins, bright acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish. Aged to enhance both structure and finesse, this Brunello showcases depth, freshness, and aging potential.
