Giuseppe Cortese Langhe Dolcetto 2023 is a charming red from the heart of Barbaresco in Piedmont, crafted entirely from hand-harvested Dolcetto grapes grown in the limestone–clay soils of the Trifolera vineyards. Fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve its purity and freshness, it offers vibrant aromas of cherry, violet, plum and subtle herbal notes. On the palate, it is smooth and velvety with balanced fruit, light tannins and a hint of almond on the finish, making it an approachable and food-friendly wine. Medium-bodied and elegant, it pairs beautifully with pasta dishes, mushroom risotto, white meats and rustic Italian fare, and is best enjoyed slightly chilled between 14–18°C while still young for its lively character.
