Good to know: Vieux Château Certan is a prestigious Pomerol estate producing some of Bordeaux’s most refined and age-worthy wines. Owned by the Thienpont family since 1924, the 14-hectare vineyard is planted mainly to Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon adding structure and elegance. Known for its silky texture, deep complexity, and exceptional balance, VCC consistently receives top scores from critics and rivals the best of Pomerol.
