Good to know: Pazo de Senorans´ have been aged on the lees for minimum of 5 months, so they usually have a very nice potential for aging. After 3 to 4 years, they will become more complex and riper. The acidity and freshness of these wines are very noticeable even when older. Pazo de Senorans is the leading producer in Rías Baixas widely recognized as one of Spain’s finest producers.

Pazo de Senoráns, now converted into a winery, is a magnificent example of those XVI century ancestral Galician houses built in the countryside with all the charm and dignity of days gone by.

The Pazo and the winery owned originally by husband and wife Marisol Bueno and Javier Mareque (and now in the hands of their four children Marisol, Vicky, Javier and Santiago) began producing wine in 1989, although the estate had already started growing wine-grapes.

Pazo de Señorans Albariño 2024 is a pure expression of Rías Baixas elegance, crafted from 100% Albariño grapes grown in the Salnés Valley. Fermented in stainless steel and aged on lees for several months, it displays a pale straw hue with greenish highlights and an aromatic bouquet of stone fruits, white flowers, and subtle herbal notes like fennel and bay leaf, underscored by a mineral-saline edge. On the palate, it is vibrant and fresh, with crisp acidity, lively fruit, and a long, saline-driven finish. A versatile wine, it pairs beautifully with seafood, sushi, ceviche, mushrooms, and light salads, showcasing the finesse and precision for which Pazo de Señorans is renowned.
