Kasumi Hammered Texture Knife

The Kasumi HM Hammered series of knives feature a unique hammer pattern on both sides of the blade, derived from the hot forging process utilizing a 300-ton flection machine. This method not only enhances the strength of the steel but also gives the hammer design a glossy finish. The uneven hammer pattern effectively prevents food from adhering to the blade.

Crafted with triply blades, these Kasumi knives boast an inner core of VG-10 steel nestled between two layers of 410 (18/10) stainless steel. The blades are exceptionally sharp, with a cutting edge on par with other Kasumi knife ranges, hardened to a 60 HRC rating. The handles are constructed from POM resin, providing a comfortable and smooth grip.

Manufactured to the highest standards in Seki, Japan, these knives are both hygienic and durable, ensuring a long-lasting
performance. Kasumi now shifts focus to a 3-ply steel knife, where the inner core is protected by two outer layers of SUS410 stainless steel. This safeguards the delicate VG-10 from both corrosion and impacts. The blade is finished with a hammered texture to achieve the desired aesthetic effect known as Tsuchime.
