Good to know: Champagne Bruno Paillard is an independent Champagne house located in Reims. The estate was founded in 1981 by Bruno Paillard, a Reims native from a lineage of Champagne brokers and growers dating back to 1704. In 1983, Bruno Paillard was the first Champagne house to display the disgorgement date on every bottle of Champagne. The house exports 75 percent of its Champagne to restaurants and fine wine stores in around 30 countries and is known to have a house style that is pure, complex, and elegant.

Wines are aged from a minimum of three years up to twelve years for the estate's top Champagne, Nec Plus Ultra. Depending on the vintage, Bruno Paillard's wines will age an additional five to 18 months after disgorgement.
Champagne Bruno Paillard produces multi-vintage and vintage Champagnes. Nec Plus Ultra is only made in the best vintages from grand cru grapes. For this top cuvée, primary fermentation and aging are completed in small wooden barriques. The best 42 barriques are selected, 21 of Chardonnay and 21 of Pinot Noir, to be blended and bottled for secondary fermentation.
