Conti Costanti Rosso di Montalcino 2022

Starting 1983, Andrea Costanti took over and inherited a large part of the few distinguished labels of quality in Montalcino at the time. As the years went by, he has developed an aromatic variety of the wines as much as he could. This in return has rewarded him with richer aromas even with extreme ranges in temperature.

The 2022 Conti Costanti Rosso di Montalcino is a vibrant and refined expression of Sangiovese from one of Montalcino’s most respected estates. Grown organically on high-altitude galestro soils, the grapes benefit from ideal conditions that preserve freshness while developing depth and character. After fermentation in stainless steel and malolactic conversion, the wine is aged for a year in a mix of Allier and Slavonian oak, resulting in a balanced, medium-bodied wine with aromas of ripe cherry and plum, subtle spice, and a long, fresh finish. Elegant and approachable, it captures the spirit of the estate and pairs beautifully with pasta, roasted meats, and aged cheeses.
