Good to Know: Domaine Hubert Lamy started in 1973 but developed greatly in the 1990s. Formerly, Pinot Noir were present in the vineyard but it has been replanted with Chardonnay as decided by Hubert Lamy.

Only a small quantity remains of one of star grower Olivier Lamy's village Puligny-Montrachet cuvées from the limited 0.9ha vineyard of 'Les Tremblots'. Some vines in this vineyard were planted just after the Second World War. The wine showcases the quality and style expected from this esteemed domain, with a remarkable purity of fruit, nervosity, and minerality. It is expected to develop superbly over the next five years, if not longer.

The Hubert Lamy Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly 2023 stands as a benchmark expression from one of Burgundy’s most coveted Premier Cru sites. Perched on a steep, south-facing limestone slope directly adjacent to Grand Cru Chevalier-Montrachet, this protected microclimate yielded a wine of exceptional poise in 2023. Winemaker Olivier Lamy skillfully navigated the warm growing season by pursuing greater dry extract to preserve structure, resulting in a release that marries sun-kissed yellow apple, white peach, and floral generosity with a taut, chalky core of freshness.
Characterized across vintages by its striking precision and intense mineral drive, En Remilly delivers an aromatic tapestry of citrus zest, white orchard fruit, and smoky crushed flint. On the palate, it unfolds with textural weight, racy acidity, and a lingering, saline-tinged finish that showcases its rocky limestone terroir. To complement its vibrant energy and sea-spray minerality, pair this Premier Cru Chardonnay with butter-poached lobster, seared sea scallops, or classic spaghetti alle vongole. It is equally sensational alongside pan-roasted turbot, citrus-herb poultry, or aged artisanal goat cheese.
