Good to know: The Château Lascombes have been succeeded by ten generations of owners since the 17th century. All who have contributed to the excellence of Château Lascombes. The wines are aged in barrels for 18 to 20 months in Oxoline barrel racks. The estate has adapted to times and used highly dependable technology based on simple principles. It is located in Margaux in Bordeaux, France and divided into three grape types: Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot.

The Château Lascombes 2010 on the nose is discreet at first. It bursts with black fruit aromas after swirling in the glass. This wine has a wonderful display of ripe fruits such as blackberries, sun-drenched cherries with chocolate and mocha notes that comes through. On the palate it is has a fresh and soft entry. The structure is round, flesh and elegant. The fullness of the wine is most noticeable with its tight-knit, fine-grained tannic structure. The finish is long with black fruit and spices.
