The Bibbiano Chianti Classico 2022 is a vibrant, organically farmed 100% Sangiovese from Castellina in Chianti, grown on clay-limestone soils rich in limestone. This ruby-red wine delivers fragrant aromas of red currant, strawberry, plum, violet, and orange peel, with underlying hints of vanilla and spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied yet concentrated, offering savory notes, fine tannins, and touches of eucalyptus and licorice that lead to a persistent, well-balanced finish. Produced by a historic estate with a connection to legendary enologist Giulio Gambelli, this wine is a pure and expressive representation of the Chianti Classico region, ideal for pairing with roast meats, game, or aged cheeses, and can age gracefully through 2032.
