Good to Know: In the Cote de Nuits in Domaine Vougeot, close to the famous Chateau du Clos Vougeot, Bertagna is a wine estate located in Burgundy, France.
Domaine Bertgana produces white and red wines using their own Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes in their regional appellations, villages, premier crus and grand crus.
The Domaine Bertagna Les Petits Vougeots is meticulously cultivated using organic farming techniques, prioritizing the well-being of the soil. To ensure high quality, the vineyard management incorporates stringent measures such as green harvesting and de-budding to control yields. The grapes are meticulously handpicked and sorted both in the field and at the winery. Following this careful selection process, the wine undergoes a meticulous aging process of 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels, with 50% of the barrels being new oak.
When it comes to tasting the Domaine Bertagna Les Petits Vougeots, expect a nose that is both rich and deep, offering an enticing blend of aromas including cooked fruits, spices, and liquorice. The mouthfeel is exceptionally refined and delicate, showcasing the balance and richness that is characteristic of this renowned appellation.

It was a weekday when we went there so it was not crowded. The interiors were nicely done and an ideal for place to have a good discussion. We love the caviar bar and their cocktail offerings. Food was above average although can still be improved. We had the pork ribs, spicy sausage, pork croquet, and fish triperones(?).
