Good to know: In the appellation of Saint-Julien in France, The Leoville’s first growth dates back to 1638 with the care of the family and their legacy. The second Grand Clu Classe in 1855: Château Léoville Poyferré was established in 1840 when Baron Jean-Marie de Poyferre added his name to Leoville.

Château Léoville Poyferré made sure that they maintain a natural balance, taking care of nature which provides for their winemaking needs. They integrated the Environmental Management System for Bordeaux wine in 2016 which lead them to obtain the High Environmental Value – Level 3 (the highest level) since 2017.

I first visited without notice to scout the venue for a business meeting, and they kindly showed me around. This time, I returned for a private dinner.

Communication via WhatsApp was seamless and friendly, allowing us to pre-order the Gambas al Ajillo and Cochinillo. The Gambas was cooked to perfection with amazing flavor, and the Cochinillo was a masterpiece—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside.
